Your Tasks

  • Professional and disciplinary management of our IT department with three teams
  • Development and implementation of a comprehensive IT strategy for the corporate group to implement the corporate strategy
  • Strategic planning, continuous further development and realisation of a sustainable IT infrastructure
  • Cross-site control of IT activities and assurance of IT availibility
  • Active further development and optimisation of IT business processes through IT systems such as
  • o Software: ERP, PLM, BDE, CRM, SAP HR + FiCo
  • o Hardware: redundant data centers at the locations
  • Ensuring IT security (operation and access), license management and implementation of the data protection concept
  • Planning and monitoring of the IT budget
  • Project management function in projects with high IT relevance in cooperation with the specialist departments
  • Direct reporting line to the management

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in business informatics or computer science with additional business management training
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of information technology, preferably in a comparable position
  • Several years of management experience
  • Good command in written and spoken English
  • Good understanding of the business requirements
  • System- and process know-how or experience in mechanical and plant engineering desirable
  • Sound planning- and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility and high service orientation
  • Good analytical skills and quick comprehension
  • High level of communication skills paired with negotiation skills
